Join us as we kick off the Bon Air Fall Festival on Saturday, October 3, at 11am, with the internationally acclaimed Orquesta de Instrumentos Reciclados de Cateura, bringing their inspiring music to our community.
Hailing from the neighborhood surrounding Paraguay’s largest landfill, this extraordinary ensemble of young musicians transforms discarded materials into beautifully crafted instruments, including violins made from oil cans, flutes fashioned from water pipes, and cellos created from tin and wood scraps.
Their powerful message is simple: “The world sends us garbage, we send back music.”
Through creativity, resilience, and remarkable talent, the orchestra has captivated audiences around the world. Don’t miss this uplifting performance that celebrates the transformative power of music and the limitless potential of the human spirit.
