• Sonoma Valley Unified elementary schools implement literacy initiative (sonomanews.com) — Kenwood families can take pride in Kenwood Elementary's standout results in the Read On, Sonoma! literacy program, where 96% of students met their reading goals last year. The success at Kenwood helped spur expansion of the free, incentive-based reading initiative to three Sonoma Valley Unified elementary schools this year, aiming to boost reading skills for hundreds more local children.
