Intro to Soldering: Simple Stained Glass Patterns (Sept 17, 6:00 - 8:00 pm)

Curious about stained glass? In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of the copper foil (Tiffany) technique while creating your own small stained glass suncatcher.

Choose from a selection of pre-cut and ground glass designs available in a variety of colors, then learn how to apply copper foil, solder your pieces together, attach a hanging ring, and finish your project for display. Along the way, you'll gain a basic understanding of the history of the copper foil method, how colored glass is made, essential studio safety, and the cutting and grinding process used to prepare your glass.

No experience is necessary, and all materials are included. You'll leave with a completed stained glass piece ready to hang and the confidence to continue exploring this timeless art form.
