Descanso Gardens' Halloween & Holiday 2021 Line-Up Announced
The La Cañada Flintridge botanical oasis is bringing back its beloved, "Carved" & "Enchanted Forest Of Light" fests to San Gabriel Valley.
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE, CA — Two, popular holiday events, beloved by San Gabriel Valley locals, — "Carved" and the "Enchanted Forest of Light" — are returning for 2021 to Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge.
Both events were cancelled in 2020 due to pandemic-related shutdowns throughout Los Angeles County.
Halloween's "Carved," will be back Oct. 11-31, 2021 with new displays and experiences. And "Enchanted," the winter-holiday light show, will run Nov. 21 through Jan. 10, 2022, with a preview party planned Nov. 20.

The family-friendly, "Carved" promises to bedazzle visitors with a 1-mile walk through thousands of carved pumpkins in Camellia Forest and Oak Grove, along with — new this year — oversized sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials, plus interactive animated totems. Also on site will be pumpkin-carving demos, the pumpkin house, hay maze and harvest fest-themed food & beverages and picnic-style seating.
The garden's winter-holiday attraction, the "Enchanted Forest of Light," will add this year a new town of magical “stained glass” creations in the Rose Garden by contemporary sculptor Tom Fruin. Returning fest favorites will include the sparkling, swirling installations from HYBYCOZO on the Main Lawn, Flower Power on the Promenade and the exquisite lighting throughout the Ancient Forest.
