$10K Reward Offered For Information On Vandalism Targeting City Staff
Authorities are still looking for those involved in the act of vandalism against Laguna Beach City Manager Shohreh Dupuis in February.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Beach Police and Community Foundation announced that it would be offering a reward of at least $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for the recent act of vandalism against the home of Laguna Beach City Manager Shohreh Dupuis.
The incident was originally reported in the early morning hour of Feb. 9, when officers were dispatched to Dupuis' 3rd Avenue home for reports of vandalism.
"Upon arrival, officers found a substance resembling feces or sewage smeared around the property including on the house, in the front yard, on the mailbox, planters, stairs and walkway adjacent to the home," a city news release read.

Laguna Beach Mayor Bob Whalen condemned the act of vandalism after it happened in a statement.
"As a City, we will not tolerate any acts to intimidate or harm any city employee or appointed or elected official. Our City Manager is a dedicated and hard-working person who only wants the best for our residents and the City," Whalen said in a statement. "Her job is hard enough without the added stress and anxiety that this type of attack creates. She doesn’t deserve this disrespect, and I fully expect our community to rally around her."

Residents who wish to contribute to the reward fund may do so by writing out a check payable to the Laguna Beach Police and Community Foundation, with the word "REWARD" written on the memo line.
Checks can be mailed to the nonprofit at P.O. Box 888, Laguna Beach, CA 92652.
