California Connections Academy @ Capistrano Hosts Back-to-School Picnic

All are invited to socialize and learn more about the school.

California Connections Academy @ Capistrano, a K-12 tuition-free online public school, will host its annual back-to-school picnic on Friday, Sept. 19 for Connections Academy students, family members, staff and any families interested in learning more about the school.

The picnic will give current and prospective students the opportunity to meet teachers, students, and other families.

Those interested in learning about the online school’s individualized approach to education are invited to talk with Connections Academy teachers and staff. They’ll learn how teachers interact with students in the virtual environment, about Connections Academy’s personalized learning opportunities, college preparation, socialization, the role of the parent or other Learning Coach, and the use of technology. The school is authorized under state law by the Capistrano Unified School District and is available to students in grades K-12 who reside in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties.
