Coyote Bites Toddler in Irvine
A three-year-old girl suffered superficial wounds when she was bitten by a coyote at an Irvine neighborhood park.

A 3-year-old girl was bitten by a coyote in Irvine today, but suffered only superficial wounds.
The girl was bitten about 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of Equinox and Silverado, said Irvine police Lt. Cathy Scherer.
She was taken by a private party to a hospital, Scherer said
