Helicopter Rescue At Thousand Steps Beach

A helicopter landed at Laguna Beach's Thousand Steps Beach late Tuesday afternoon to render medical aid.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach fire department warned residents that a helicopter would be landing on Tuesday afternoon at Thousand Steps Beach.

"Don't be alarmed," they said. "A helicopter will be landing at Thousand Steps Beach for a medical aid."

The report was released shortly before 5 p.m. and the exact nature of the medical aid was not known as of this report.

"The patient was transported to nearest hospital for further evaluation," a Laguna Beach Fire Department spokesperson said.
