Laguna Canyon Fire Fully Contained, Laguna Coast Wilderness Park Re-opens--Partially
Orange County Parks reports that the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park has been reopened, though certain trails remain closed.
The brush fire was declared fully contained in the remote Laguna Coast Wilderness Park area as of late yesterday afternoon.
The Laguna Coast Wilderness Park was scheduled to reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 30 but "The Laguna Ridge trail between Big Bend and Bommer Ridge will remain closed until further notice," according to Orange County Parks.
The brush fire, which started just before 1 p.m. Sunday, blackened about 50-acres.

No one was injured and evacuations were never required.
