Portion Of Laguna Beach Waters Reopened After Sewage Spill
A stretch of Laguna Beach coastal area was reopened after 465,000 gallons of sewage leaked from a force main sewer line break.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA ā The Orange County Health Care Agency reopened a portion of Laguna Beach coastal area to swimming, surfing and diving after a 465,000 gallon sewage spill.
According to the OCHCA, the coastal area from Table Rock to 500 feet south of Aliso Creek has been reopened. The area from 500 feet south of Aliso Creek to Treasure Island remains closed.
The sewage spill shut down a stretch of the south Orange County coast Tuesday evening, the Orange County Health Care Agency reported.

The sewage spill was caused by a force main sewer line break near the Laguna Niguel Regional Park that has since been repaired, according to the City of Laguna Beach.
According to officials, the spill shut down the open coastal water area from Treasure Island Beach to Table Rock at Aliso Beach.
