Orange County Firefighters Fix Bike For Stranded Woman

This group of Stanton Firefighters was caught in a random act of kindness, helping a woman who was going through a difficult time.

STANTON, CA — When you're a firefighter, you're confronted daily with decisions to help between life and death. But when you notice a citizen in distress, it only takes a moment to do the right thing. These Stanton area Orange County Firefighters stepped in on Wednesday this week, when they realized one of their residents was having a difficult time.

"We try to make a difference whenever we can," a spokesperson for the Orange County Firefighters said over Twitter.

These firefighters from the Stanton station bought a new bike basket for a woman after hers was stolen.

"She was going through a hard time, and that bike was her sole mode of transportation to the store and pharmacy," they said. The firefighters took the time to install the bike basket before sending the resident on her way.
