First Annual Taste of Balboa

You're invited to join us on Sunday, April 13 from 11am-4pm at Balboa Village for the first Taste of Balboa during the Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race Kickoff Fiesta. The Taste of Balboa will feature a variety of local restaurants - including Bella Luna Cafe, Harborside Restaurant, Ruby's Diner, The Porch and The Sliding Door Cafe- serving up tastes of their signature dishes for sale. Savor an assortment of different dished and tastes including pasta, seafood, burgers, noodles, pizza and so much more from some of Balboa's most beloved restaurants. Tickets will be sold at the event and tastings range from $1-$10 per dish with sodas and waters for $1. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
There will also be a variety of activities and entertainment for the entire family to enjoy. Bands will be playing throughout the event, and you can get an up close view of some vintage cars. A selection of official Newport to Ensenada race boats will be docked by the ferry where you can learn more about some of the crew's preparations for this world-famous event. Children can let their imagination set sail at ExplorOcean by building model boats and trying their hands at engaging, ocean-related science exhibits. The professional chalk painting artists from La Strada dell'arte will transform Balboa Village sidewalks into works of art. The First Annual Taste of Balboa will be located in the heart of Balboa Village at the corner of Balboa Blvd. and Palm St. in Newport Beach.
