***I am very excited to announce my Happy Family, Happy Summer! Compassionate Communication Empathy Workshop. Why am I so passionate about this workshop? Nothing is more wonderful in my life than when I am enjoying my family, with a sense of calm and connection, where caring and fun flow with ease. I have noticed this is true for many people that I know personally and professionally. In this workshop, I teach very doable skills to family members so that they can increase the likelihood that they enjoy being with each other. I am so grateful I was introduced to Compassionate Communication when my children were much younger and living at home. I have so much respect for the challenges of parenting. I had my share and sometimes still do even though my children are young adults now, living on their own. Hands down, nothing has been more helpful to me in my cherished role as a Mom, than being able to understand my children and come from compassion when I interact with them. Empathy skills are the action of compassion. I teach the practical steps on how to navigate family life, difficult conversations and challenging relationships by using empathy skills. Does this sound interesting to you? Please contact me if you have any questions or if you’d like to register for the first workshop of the on-going series on July 6th, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
