Live Auction for Beachfront Estate and Buildable Lot in Dana Point
The 4,000-square-foot estate along the Pacific Ocean is selling to the highest bidder at/or above the $5M reserve on Nov. 11.
The Beach House at Dana Point, a beachfront residence with adjacent buildable lot along the white sands and crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, will be sold during a live auction on Nov. 11.
Originally listed for $10.5 million, the property will sell to the highest bidder at/or above a $5 million reserve.
Designed by James Glover and situated on two beachfront home sites, the 4,000-square-foot Beach House at Dana Point features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, movie theater, wine cellar, four interior and two outdoor fireplaces, gourmet kitchen and family room with full wet bar. Large decks invite the outdoors in and provide panoramic whitewater views. The beachfront is a playground, with a seafront courtyard boasting a stone fireplace, lush landscaping, a sandy fire pit lounge area and a built-in barbecue.
"The silent auction conducted from Oct. 3-7 was a success, with seven bidders registered. Based on that interest and bidding activity, the seller has chosen to move toward a live auction, whereby the registered bidders will continue their competition and additional bidders will be able to become involved," said Laura Brady, vice president of marketing for Concierge Auctions, who will behandign the auction. "We are thrilled to offer a transparent, $5 million reserve. Considering that the current owner purchased the property for $8.5 million and recently completed a $1.5 million renovation, this is a tremendous opportunity to own a premier beach retreat for a great value."
The auction of 35851 Beach Road will be conducted "live" on Nov. 11. The property will be available for preview daily from 1-4 p.m. by appointment. For more information visit DanaPointAuction.com or call 866-605-7287.
