South County NCL Seniors Graduate With Record Charitable Service

These Dana Point & Laguna Niguel ladies were recognized at a recent event honoring the senior graduates of the National Charity League.

DANA POINT, CA —The graduating Senior Class of the Capistrano Coast Chapter contributed over 2,500 hours to over 24 philanthropies in Orange County, the National Charity League, Inc., Capistrano Coast Chapter announced.

A recent Senior Recognition event honoring the high school senior graduates was held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at The Dana Point Marriott.

The graduating Senior’s volunteer activities were diverse, and positively impacted many people in Orange County. Their work included working directly with children at the Shea Center Therapeutic Riding Center, delivering meals to families at Mission CHOC Ronald McDonald House, and visiting with Seniors at Age Well Senior Center.

"The young women of our Class of 2019 have honored our chapter by volunteering over 2,500 Philanthropy hours during the past 6 years. These amazing ladies have made a mark both academically and through athletic achievements," said Michele Carrillo, 2018-2019 Capistrano Coast Chapter President. "The Senior Recognition Ball not only celebrates their achievements, it is a ceremonial bridge to the next chapters of their lives."

Each of these young ladies is headed to college, including such esteemed universities as Chapman, Cal Poly, Clemson, USC, Berkeley, Texas Christian and UCLA.

"The most meaningful thing I did with NCL was spend the week at the Special Camps with a camper with special needs: Riley," graduating Senior Natalie Laderer said. "Building a relationship and earning his trust was an experience filled with lone and compassion that I will never forget."
