Best & Worst Cities In CA For July 4th Celebrations
California has some of the best spots to celebrate the Fourth of July, according to WalletHub. Where are you celebrating the holiday?

CALIFORNIA – With the Fourth of July just days away, WalletHub recently released its rankings for 2018's Best & Worst Places for Fourth of July Celebrations.
To compile the rankings of the best places to celebrate the star-spangled occasion, experts at the personal finance website compared the 100 largest cities in the country based on how well they balance holiday cost and fun. After all, celebrating freedom doesn't come free. In fact, the National Retail Federation projects that American households this year will spend a collective $6.9 billion — down from last year's record $7.1 billion — on Fourth of July food alone.
WalletHub's report looked at 19 key metrics, ranging from average beer and wine prices to duration of fireworks shows to Fourth of July weather forecast. Click here to read the full report and methodology.

Although New York, New York ranked as the best place in the U.S. to celebrate the Fourth of July, two cities in California cracked the top 10. Los Angeles ranked second, with San Diego in eighth place.
Some cities in the Golden State ranked at the bottom of the list. Bakersfield came in 90th, followed by Fremont at 91st place. San Bernardino came in 100th, the very bottom of the rankings.

- $5.4 Million: Value of American flags imported annually (mostly from China)
- 46.9 Million: Number of people who travel 50+ miles from home for the Fourth of July
