You'll learn how to make a terrarium with air plants, which is as low-maintenance as it comes! Plus, you will get to design and personalize your terrarium for a bit of creative expression!
Each ticket includes everything you will need to make one large 6" terrarium - including air plants, sand, gravel, dried flowers, and all the tools you need! We will guide you through assembling your unique terrarium and give you some pointers on how to care for it. No green thumb is required!

Bobby Cressey is one of the West Coast’s most dynamic and versatile keyboardists, Best known as the organist for the San Diego Padres, where his high-energy playing electrifies tens of thousands of fans each season. A virtuoso of jazz, funk, soul, ska, reggae, and classical piano, he has performed with an extraordinary range of artists, including Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Bobby Brown, Lil Jon, Warren G, John Elefante of Kansas, DJ Skee, and The Glenn Miller Big Band. A founding member of the acclaimed 18-piece ska ensemble Western Standard Time and leader of his own jazz piano and organ projects, Cressey is also an accomplished composer and producer whose work appears in film, television, radio, and video games.

Spring is on its way and the flowers are in bloom! Patchwork is heading back to Mike Hess Brewing for a NEW craft! Everyone loves flowers, but hate when they die! In this workshop we will create a wooden box with wooden flowers! Guests will have the option of painting there own unfinished wood flowers or using pre colored flowers to create there arrangements. Arrangements will be finished off with a variety of dried flowers. There is a wide variety of colors and flower types to choose from, making every arrangement very unique!

Singing Hills Golf Club at Sycuan

<a href="https://www.sheltertosoldier.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Shelter to Soldier</a> will host its <a href="https://www.sheltertosoldier.org/event/7th-annual-saving-lives-one-swing-at-a-time-golf-tournament/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">7th Annual Saving Lives, "One Swing at a Time" Golf Tournament,</a> presented by <a href="https://www.frontwavecu.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Frontwave Credit Union,</a> on Friday, April 24, at <a href="https://www.singinghillsgolfclub.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Singing Hills Golf Club at Sycuan,</a> located at 3007 Dehesa Road in El Cajon. The annual fundraiser supports the nonprofit’s mission of rescuing dogs from local shelters and training them as service dogs for post-9/11 veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, and other service-related injuries.
Held on the scenic, championship Willow Glen Golf Course, golfers of all skill levels will enjoy a fun afternoon featuring games, competitions, and prizes. Registration opens at 10 a.m., followed by a 12 p.m. shotgun start. Participants will be treated to a boxed sandwich lunch, beverages and spirits sponsored by <a href="https://www.mikehessbrewing.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mike Hess Brewing Co.,</a> event swag bag, and a delicious dinner reception and awards ceremony following the tournament.
Proceeds from the tournament directly support Shelter to Soldier’s lifesaving programs for both veterans and rescue dogs. An average of 18 U.S. veterans and one active-duty service member are lost to suicide each day in our country, while approximately 1,000 dogs are euthanized daily in the U.S. Shelter to Soldier, whose tagline is “Saving Lives, Two at a Time,” works to reduce these numbers by bringing trained rescue dogs together with wounded veterans to help both recover and move forward through their psychiatric service dog training program. This year’s Golf Tournament fundraising goal is $65,000.
The 7th Annual Saving Lives, "One Swing at a Time" Golf Tournament is proudly presented by Frontwave Credit Union and supported by Sycuan Casino Resort and Summit Subaru El Cajon, Albatross Sponsors, and UNITE Hair, an Eagle Sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are available now. Single golfer registration is $310, and foursomes are $1,200.
