Don't Forget to Register for Youth Baseball

The deadline to register for La Jolla Youth Baseball is Jan. 9.

Registration for the 2011 La Jolla Youth Baseball season is coming up. Parents have until Jan. 9 to sign the papers and get their kids up to bat.

The cost for the 2011 season is $175 for the T-ball division and $195 for all other divisions. Late registration includes a $50 late fee and will not guarantee placement on a team.

Registration is based on the player's age as of April 30, 2011.

  • Shetland (ages 5 and 6)—T-ball; usually includes one practice during the week and one game on Saturday.
  • Pinto (ages 7 and 8)—machine pitch.
  • Mustang (ages 9 and 10)—live pitching begins.
  • Bronco (ages 11 and 12)
  • Pony (ages 13 and 14)
