Magic Show, Sculpture Tour and Town Council Meeting

Wolfstein Sculpture Park Tour 

• Strap on your walking shoes for a docent-led tour of Wolfstein Sculpture Park. The free tour will meet at the volunteer services office at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. 

• Sportscaster Mel Proctor will discuss and sign his book I Love the Work, But I Hate the Business. He voiced play-by-play games for the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Bullets and San Diego Padres. The event is at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Warwick's. 

• Magician Jeff Marcus will host a magic show for kids of all ages. The show will start at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the La Jolla Library.

• La Jolla Town Council meets every second Thursday of the month. The meeting will be at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 at the La Jolla Recreation Center. 

• Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego La Jolla will extend its hours for tours, a cash bar, food trucks, live DJ, explore the galleries and more. This week, Shore Thing will host a yoga class with Riffs Yoga Yard at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 in the Sculpture Garden.
