2 People Trapped In Lakeland Village Crash, Major Injuries Reported

LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA — Two people who were trapped in the wreckage of a two-vehicle crash Friday in Lakeland Village were extricated and sent to a local hospital with injuries, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash was reported at 11:38 a.m. on Grand Avenue at Fairmont Lane.
The two trapped victims were in the same vehicle, according to the fire department. Crews worked to free the pair, who were sent by ground ambulance to an area hospital.

One of the victims suffered major injuries; the other person's injuries were described as moderate, according to the agency. No other injuries were reported.
