3-Car Crash Slows I-15 Northbound Traffic Through Lake Elsinore
Monday commuters were at a crawl as two lanes closed on the I-15 northbound through Lake Elsinore following a multi-car crash Monday.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA —A three-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 in the Temescal Valley Monday injured several people and prompted a partial closure of the northbound side of the freeway.
The crash was reported about 9 a.m. in the No. 1 and 2 lanes on northbound I-15, just south of Indian Truck Trail, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said that a tractor-trailer, an SUV and a sedan impacted at the location, but the circumstances were not immediately clear.
The collision temporarily forced the closure of all northbound lanes, prompting a SigAlert at 9:10 a.m. because of the miles-long traffic jam.
