Brazen RivCo Jewelry Thieves ID'd: Men Snatched $30K in Rings, Police Say

CORONA, CA - Two men who snatched tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise from a Corona jewelry shop have been identified and are currently sought by four Southland law enforcement agencies, police say.

The men, identified as Deanthony Lamar Blocker and Dajuan Lee Calvin Robinson, are accused in a brazen heist that occurred about 3:15 p.m. Monday at Superior Market in the 1100 block of West Sixth Street, according to the Corona Police Department.

A clerk at the store told police that the two suspects approached his kiosk asking to look at engagement rings, according to Corona police Sgt. Jason Perez.

"The employee briefly turned around, facing away from the display case, and one of the suspects leaned over the counter and removed two trays of engagement rings," police said in a news release.

The loot is valued at $30,000, according to police.

A bystander told the clerk that he witnessed the pair jump into a white van and speed away, Perez said. Patrol officers arrived minutes later and searched the area, but turned up no clues.

Both suspects are wanted by not only the Corona Police Department, but by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Riverside County Sheriff's Department and Chino police, authorities say.
