Wildomar Amateur Boxer Delays Trip To USA Boxing National Event
Steven Rojas is a special kind of boxer, his home gym, Temecula Boxing Training Academy, says.
WILDOMAR, CA — A Wildomar 17-year-old who planned to compete this summer in the USA Boxing National Ranking Junior Olympics in Wichita, Kansas, is sidelined with an injury, but his love of the sport will get him through it.
Steven Rojas, a former Wildomar Elementary and David A. Brown Middle School student, is currently a junior at Elsinore High School.
The aspiring boxer trains at the Temecula Boxing Training Academy, which shared about Steven's achievements, saying:

Beyond boxing, Steven is an active volunteer at David A. Brown middle school, and never fails to help when anything is needed his mother Liz Rojas told Patch. "Steven is truly an inspiring young man with so much discipline, dedication, and integrity. Hopefully, our community joins in cheering him on!"

Though his goal is delayed, he has long term goals of becoming a nationally ranked boxer.
