Deputies To Conduct DUI Operation In RivCo On St. Patrick's Day: Sheriff
Drivers charged with DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, and a suspended license.
NORCO, CA — Deputies will be conducting a traffic safety operation throughout the city of Norco on March 17 looking for motorists driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, authorities said.
The operation, which begins on St. Patrick's Day, will be held from 5 p.m. Tuesday to 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities said impaired driving is not just from alcohol and can include some prescriptions, and over-the-counter drugs that may interfere with driving.

Funding for the operation was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
