Come see students from Lakeside and Elsinore High Schools as they present their spring musical, Hairspray! The show is based on the 1988 movie by John Waters. This musical adaptation first premiered on Broadway, and won multiple Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 2003!
This family-appropriate show features singing and dancing. Set in 1960's Baltimore, the characters struggle for full racial integration, and one character struggles for acceptance despite her physical appearance.
