EVMWD to Begin Sewer Line Construction on Monte Vista Drive
EVMWD is scheduled to begin a new sewer line project on Monte Vista Drive in Wildomar the week of April 23.

From WVMWD: Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is scheduled to begin a new sewer line project on Monte Vista Drive in Wildomar the week of April 23, 2018 for approximately three months. The new sewer line is necessary to connect the Cornerstone Church/School facilities and seven other nearby parcels to the new sewer system.

The Cornerstone Church Sewer Extension Project involves:
• Installing approximately 2,000 linear feet of new 8” sewer pipeline

• Adding seven sewer laterals
• Adding six sewer manholes

• Connecting Cornerstone and seven other parcels to the new sewer system
During construction, motorists can expect the following:
• Construction hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Traffic will be limited to one lane on Monte Vista Dr. with flagmen directing traffic
• Increased truck and/or equipment traffic
• Access to the church, school and nearby properties will remain available at all times, however minor traffic delays should be anticipated
• Noise, dust, vibrations, odors
• Temporary on-street parking restrictions near the construction zone
“With this project, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District will be expanding our sewer service to an area currently served by private septic systems,” said EVWMD Board Director, Andy Morris. “As we make these improvements, we appreciate the public’s patience and urge caution when driving through the construction zone on Monte Vista Drive.”
