Fentanyl, Xanax, Other Drugs Seized In Bust: Police

Four people were arrested at two residences, police said.

HEMET, CA — Four people were arrested at two residences during a drug bust in Hemet, police said Saturday.

Law enforcement officials from various agencies on Thursday served a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of North Hamilton Avenue and found Fentanyl and Xanax packaged for sale, Hemet Police Lt. Eric Dickson said.

The homeowner was subsequently arrested, he said.

Officers also encountered several people in front of the home who "dropped several bindles of suspected methamphetamine," according to Dickson.

Based on information gathered from the detainees, authorities were led to a second residence, an apartment on the same block, where they conducted a probation compliance check.

Officers ended up seizing 20 grams of methamphetamine and ammunition for two types of guns at that location, Dickson said.

In total, three men and a woman were arrested:
-- Tasneka Wilkerson, 26, Hemet on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sales;
-- Christopher Mahone, 31, of Hemet on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sales, being a felon in possession of ammunition, and violation of probation;
-- Benjamin Weatherspoon, 25, of Moreno Valley who had an outstanding felony arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance for sales;
-- Keenan Hadley, 22 of Compton who had an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
