Firefighter Injured Battling Canyon Lake House Fire

CANYON LAKE, CA -- A Riverside County firefighter suffered a minor injury Monday fighting a fire on the roof and attic of a Canyon Lake home, authorities said. The fire was reported at 3:06 a.m. in the 29000 block of Old Wrangler Road, Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department said.

"The first arriving engine company reported fire from the roof of the garage of a two-story single family residence," Cabral said. "The fire was well-established in the attic of the home."

Two adults were displaced due to the fire damage, she said. No injuries were reported.
