MEAD VALLEY, CA — Firefighters were battling a brush fire Wednesday that has burned at least two acres in an unincorporated community just east of Lake Mathews, fire officials said.
The slow-moving blaze was reported just before Noon near Cajalco and Wood roads, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said no homes or structures were threatened.
