MORENO VALLEY, CA — Firefighters Sunday battled a residential fire in Moreno Valley.
The fire was reported at 1:55 p.m. Sunday in the 23900 block of Staghorn Circle where responding firefighters found a two-story residence with smoke showing from the first floor, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire was knocked down shortly after firefighters' arrival and utility companies were requested to assist. Firefighters predicted remaining on scene for approximately two hours.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
