Flooding Incident Leads To Discovery Of Illegal Marijuana Grow

RivCo fire crews initially were called to the scene in nearby Temescal Valley for a residential flooding report, officials said.

TEMESCAL VALLEY, CA — After the Riverside County Fire Department responded Saturday morning to a residential flooding incident on the 11000 block of Bunting Circle in Temescal Valley, deputies from the Lake Elsinore station were called for a suspected illegal marijuana-growing operation at the home, officials said.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department obtained a search warrant and removed approximately 3,000 plants from the property, deputies said.

No information was available if any arrests were made.
