Helicopter Airlifts Inaccessible Patient From Temescal Canyon Area
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department and Riverside County Sheriff's Department helicopters worked to reach an injured person.

TEMESCAL CANYON, CA — Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department Firefighters worked on an inaccessible rescue Friday evening, they reported over social media.
Shortly before 6 p.m., firefighters arrived in the area of Horsethief Canyon Road and Mountain Road in Temescal Valley. There, they reached the area where a solo-patient had endured minor injuries, according to a department spokesperson.
"The Riverside County Sheriff's Department helicopter crew hoisted and flew the patient to a nearby landing zone, where they were then transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance for treatment."
