Illegal Marijuana Grow Busted In Wildomar: Deputies
The discovery was made after a tip came in and a search warrant was served, officials said.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Deputies seized approximately 3,600 marijuana plants, with an estimimated street value of more than $200,000, from an alleged illegal grow site in Wildomar after a search warrant was served Thursday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The department's Marijuana Eradication Team, along with deputies from the Lake Elsinore sheriff's station, served the warrant at 7 a.m. on the 24000 block of Cottonwood Street, after receiving an anonymous tip on the site in late August, the agency said.
"Deputies located the illegal marijuana grow and wrote a search warrant for the property," officials said. No arrests were made, but deputies are following up on leads to identify suspects, the department said.
