Lake Elsinore Convenience Store Robbery: Suspect Remains Jailed

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A man who allegedly robbed a Lake Elsinore convenience store remains jailed Monday.
Darvone Brice Bogus, 30, of San Diego is suspected of robbing the store in the 19000 block of Collier Avenue around 1 p.m. Thursday and fleeing on foot — leaving behind a stolen vehicle he had been driving, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Store employees provided a suspect description to deputies, which led to the arrest of Bogus a short time after the incident was reported.

Jail records show the arrest took place about 1:30 p.m. on Collier Avenue.
Bogus was booked into Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, second-degree robbery, and parole violation, among other charges, according to jail records.
