Lake Elsinore Deputies Capture Buena Park Carjacker In Wildomar

WILDOMAR, CA — A man suspected in a Buena Park carjacking was arrested this week in Wildomar after deputies spotted the stolen vehicle.

Deputies out of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station on patrol in Wildomar late Monday night saw a white Mercedes near Autumn Sage Court and Valley Vista Circle and ran a license plate check. Information came back that showed the vehicle was stolen during a Buena Park carjacking, the station reported.

Deputies conducted a vehicle stop and arrested Thomas Truehill Lopez, 32, of La Mirada, who was booked on suspicion of carjacking, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property, the station said.
