Lake Elsinore House Fire Forces Family To Evacuate Overnight

A family fled when the second floor of their Tangerine Way home caught fire late Tuesday.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A Lake Elsinore family was unable to return home after their home caught fire Tuesday evening, Cal Fire/Riverside County Firefighters reported.

Firefighters arrived just after 8:45 p.m. at the 29000 block of Tangerine Way to find smoke pouring from a second-story window, according to Cal Fire spokeswoman Maggie Haberman.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The fire was contained by about 9:30 p.m., but firefighters remained at the scene. Red Cross was not called, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, she said.
