Lake Elsinore Man Arrested in Meth Bust Appears in Court
Authorities allegedly found more than eight pounds of methamphetamine and a large sum of money at the man's house.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – A man accused of selling methamphetamine throughout Riverside County pleaded not guilty Monday to possession of a controlled substance for sale and illegal possession of a firearm.
Arthur William Fontaine of Lake Elsinore, 53, was arrested April 21 after Riverside County deputies and Perris police allegedly found two ounces of methamphetamine in his residence in Lake Elsinore, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Sam Morovich said.
In another search on the morning of April 12, authorities allegedly found more than eight pounds of methamphetamine and a large sum of money, but Fontaine was not at the residence at the time.

Both searches came after a month-long narcotics investigation by Menifee and Perris authorities that determined Fontaine was allegedly selling narcotics in Menifee, Perris, Lake Elsinore and Wildomar, Morovich said.
Fontaine is due back in court on Aug. 29 for a felony settlement conference.
