Lake Elsinore Man Jailed In Coachella Valley Following Crash

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — A 20-year-old Lake Elsinore man remained in an Indio jail Friday following his arrest Thursday morning in La Quinta, where he allegedly crashed his vehicle while driving under the influence.

Roberto Ruelas was being held on suspicion of DUI with bail set at $3,500, jail records show.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Ruelas smashed into a raised wall at a roundabout located at Avenue 52 and Avenida Bermudas. No other vehicles were involved.
