Man Accused Of Attempted Murder In Girlfriend's Attack: Deputies

The woman suffered "significant trauma" in the Lake Elsinore incident, officials said.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A 28-year-old man was arrested on numerous charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping and torture, Monday morning after deputies were called to Perret Park in Lake Elsinore by a security guard reporting a domestic-violence incident between a male and a female, according to authorities.

Deputies arriving on the 32000 block of Perret Boulevard at about 6:39 a.m. found the woman who "had suffered significant trauma," the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

Her boyfriend, Christopher Ferrian, was located nearby and arrested without incident, deputies said.

Ferrian, listed in files as a transient, was booked at Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta for suspicion of attempted murder, torture, kidnapping and domestic violence, the agency said.
