Man Dies On Corona Railroad Tracks

The man was pronounced dead Saturday morning.

CORONA, CA — A man who died on railroad tracks in Corona was identified Sunday as a local man.

Jared Sosa, 33, of Norco was injured on the tracks at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, approximately 20 feet south of 150 W. Blaine Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.

Sosa was pronounced dead at the same spot minutes later, according to the coroner's report.

During the death investigation, Corona police asked people to avoid the area of Cota and Sheridan streets from Railroad to Harrison streets.

"This is due to a police investigation," the agency said on social media.
