Man With Felony Warrant Arrested During DUI Saturation Patrol

PERRIS, CA — A man with an outstanding felony warrant was arrested during a DUI saturation patrol in Perris, sheriff's officials said Saturday.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department conducted the patrol between 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday throughout the city.

No arrests were made for impaired driving, though a 41-year-old man was arrested at Perris Boulevard and Placentia Avenue for a felony state parole violation warrant, sheriff's officials said.

Craig Miller of Riverside was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center and remained jailed without bail.

In addition, 13 citations were issued for various vehicle code violations.

The saturation patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
