Man Killed In Winchester Crash Identified

WINCHESTER, CA — The Riverside County coroner's office identified the 53-year-old man Sunday who died in a rollover car crash in Winchester, east of Menifee.

The collision was between a white SUV and black pickup truck, and was reported at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Winchester Road and Abelia Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses told the CHP that the SUV overturned and went off the roadway.

Valentin Godina of Hemet was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
Three other people suffered minor injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
