Mission Trail Community Library Turns 10
The Friends of the Mission Trail Library hosted a birthday celebration Saturday for the 5,000-square-foot library, and many dignitaries were on hand.

At 10 years old, the Mission Trail Community Library in Wildomar has grown up -- and Saturday there was a coming of age celebration.
The Friends of the Mission Trail Library hosted the 10th birthday party for the 5,000-square-foot library July 30, and many dignitaries were on hand.
Library manager Agnes Rita welcomed library patrons, community group leaders and special guests including 1st District Supervisor Bob Buster, Wildomar City Council members Bridgette Moore and Bob Cashman, Riverside County Administrator Mark Smith, along with Riverside County Zone Managers Barbara Howison, Sylvia Weck and Sherry Martinez.

Friends of the Library President Sandra Eytchison introduced the Friends’ board members Mary Ruff, Darell Ruff, Dorothy Brown, Annabelle McClusky, Aida Alvandian and George Taylor to the audience, while Supervisor Buster presented a Riverside County Proclamation honoring the Friends of the Mission Trail Library for 10 years of service in the community:
“The County of Riverside, in recognition of the dedicated contribution the Friends of the Mission Trail Library provide to our library and residents, do hereby honor the Friends on July 30, 2011, in the County of Riverside, and urge all citizens to recognize and applaud their invaluable service.”
