Murrieta Man, Teen Nabbed In Wildomar: Firearm, Marijuana
The two are suspected of transporting marijuana for sale and illegal possession of a firearm, according to the sheriff's department.
WILDOMAR, CA — A young man and a teenager were arrested Wednesday in Wildomar for allegedly transporting packaged marijuana for sale in a vehicle in which a loaded weapon was found.
Michael Brennan Dooty, 18, of Murrieta and a 17-year-old boy, whose identity was not disclosed, were taken into custody about 4:30 a.m. following a traffic stop in the area of Clinton Keith Road and Inland Valley Drive, just east of Interstate 15, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Joe Narisco.
Dooty was booked into the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of possession of cannabis for distribution and illegal possession of a firearm, while the teen was booked into Riverside Juvenile Hall on the same allegations, as well as driving under the influence.

Dooty was released on his own recognizance a few hours later.
According to Narisco, patrol deputies spotted the teen cruising erratically along Clinton Keith and became suspicious that he was altered or inebriated, prompting deputies to stop the car.

After the two suspects were detained, deputies seized a loaded Glock semiautomatic handgun from the vehicle, as well as several packages of marijuana and other contraband, Narisco alleged.
