Murrieta Woman, 19, Killed In Wildomar Crash

The collision was at at the intersection of Corydon Road and Cereal Street, officials said.

WILDOMAR, CA – A Murrieta woman was killed in a car crash in Wildomar late Thursday, officials said Friday.

A report came in at 6:10 p.m. of a two-car collision at the intersection of Corydon Road and Cereal Street near the boundary between Wildomar and Lake Elsinore, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

One person, later identified as Amanda Nelson, 19, of Murrieta, died at the scene.

One other person was taken to a hospital after being extracted by firefighters, and two more suffered "moderate" injuries, fire officials said.

Riverside County sheriff's deputies were investigating the crash. No information on the cause of the collision was immediately released.
