Neighbor Complaint Leads To Drug Arrests In Lake Elsinore

Two local residents were taken into custody on various charges after tip made of narcotics allegedly being sold from an area residence.

LAKE ELSINORE CA — Two local residents were arrested Tuesday on drug-related charges after a complaint was logged from a person concerned about possible narcotics sales underway at a residence near Eucalyptus Avenue and Red Gum Drive in Lake Elsinore., the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

At 9:30 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station went to the home and subsequently arrested Beverly Quake, 64, of Lake Elsinore, who was on probation for possession of a stolen firearm and narcotics offenses, and Roger Grimard, 38, also of Lake Elsinore, on active parole for assault with a deadly weapon, deputies said.

During a search of Quake’s residence, deputies reportedly retrieved methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging and "other items common with the sales of narcotics," the agency said.

Quake was arrested for suspicion of sales of narcotics. Grimard was arrested for allegedly being under the influence of narcotics and a parole violation.

They were booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
