'Person Of Interest' Sought For Questioning In Lake Elsinore Homicide
Samuel Anthony Salazar is wanted for questioning in Sunday's killing that was reported in the 33100 block of Jamieson Street.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Investigators want to talk to a possible suspect in last weekend's Lake Elsinore homicide, and that person is being sought, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced late Wednesday night.
"Samuel Anthony Salazar was identified as a person of interest and is wanted for questioning ...," the sheriff's department said.
Further details about Salazar or his possible involvement in the case were not disclosed.

The killing was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday when the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station responded to a medical aid call in the 33100 block of Jamieson Street, on the northwest side of the lake.
When deputies arrived, they found a male suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene, according to the sheriff's department. His identity and age were not released pending notification of next of kin. As of Thursday, his identity was still pending public release from authorities.

Investigators determined the incident was a homicide, the sheriff's department reported. No details were released about a possible motive.
