Person Trapped In Lake Elsinore Crash: Fire Dept.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A person was hospitalized in serious condition Thursday night following a major crash in Lake Elsinore, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The person apparently slammed into a pole and became trapped in their vehicle.

Officials say the wreck happened around 7:18 p.m. at Railroad Canyon Road and Church Street.

"Firefighters extricated the victim who was then transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital in serious condition," said Tawny Cabral with the fire department.

The sheriff's department is investigating the crash. No other injuries were reported.
