PHOTOS: House Fire Near Canyon Lake Downs Power Lines
The blaze was reported at 7:21 a.m. Tuesday in the 28000 block of Avenida Gaviota.
QUAIL VALLEY, CA — A house fire that broke at Tuesday morning in Quail Valley, just east of Canyon Lake, caused downed power lines but no injuries, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The blaze was reported at 7:21 a.m. in the 28000 block of Avenida Gaviota.
Crews, including seven engines and one truck, battled the fire in the single-family residence and were able to contain it to the home and some debris on the property, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Crews remained on scene; no injuries were reported.
Southern California Edison was on scene due to the downed power lines.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
