Railroad Canyon Partially Closed For Potholes, Safety Concerns

City officials are working on the thoroughfare Tuesday.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Lake Elsinore officials closed a portion of Railroad Canyon Road for "safety concerns" and repairs on Tuesday, officials announced. At least one lane is expected to remain open during the work, slated to go until around 2:30 p.m.

The city says they are working on "repairs to address potholes and other safety concerns along this roadway" between Church Street and Fire Station No. 94.

"These repairs will address immediate concerns while the City continues moving forward on our project to widen and repave the entire roadway," the city said. "We are hoping this can happen soon."
